Simply Thick

Does anyone use Simply Thick in their formula?

Little Noah was born on Dec 29th and would not eat more than 10-15mL, so we ended up in NICU for a week, no diagnosis, but the simply thick DOES help. He can clear a 4oz bottle already (not all the time, but occasionally!) SO things were great until I ran out of the ready-made formula... now I am using powdered concentrate (that is provided by WIC) and when I mix it all up it seems too foamy. He's been having a bit more trouble today. I need a good, formula-thickener-nipple "recipe". I'm going nuts trying to figure out what works best.

Just let it sit for 15 minutes before feeding it to him and the foam will diminish a LOT. Also give him some gas relief drops. If that doesn't work you can get a doctor's note saying your kid needs the ready made formula and WIC will have to provide that, if I understand correctly.
